At the recent INTERMAT 2024 exhibition, Liebherr presented its latest innovations in the field of construction machinery, attracting the attention of many industry experts and visitors. At the Ext 6 C051 booth, Liebherr showcased around 20 machines, including tower cranes, mobile and crawler cranes, earthmoving machinery, material handling technology, etc., demonstrating its strength as one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction machinery.
Among them, a sixth-generation R972 crawler excavator is particularly eye-catching. With a working capacity of around 72 tons, this machine is ideal for large construction sites and mining sites thanks to its high efficiency, excellent operating comfort and modern design. Liebherr's Bucket Fill Assist (BFA) system further increases loading efficiency and driving comfort, while reducing fuel consumption and vibration.
In addition, Liebherr presented several innovative products, such as the LRB 23 piling rig, which has an engine output of up to 600 kW and is suitable for a wide range of deep foundation applications, including rotary drilling. The TA 230 Litronic Articulated Dump Truck, on the other hand, is designed to improve operational efficiency in the extractive industry and the transport of excavated materials, with innovative driver assistance systems that further enhance productivity and safety.
Liebherr has also made significant progress in digitalization and drive technology. For example, the MK 140-5.1 mobile construction crane, one of Liebherr's most powerful cranes, not only has a high load capacity, but also operates fully electrically, which greatly improves environmental performance. For the first time, the LTR 1150 telescopic crawler crane is equipped with VarioBase® technology, which greatly improves the safety and efficiency of the crane under complex working conditions.
